*Dishonorably discharged veterans or their dependents are not eligible

Documentation should be submitted to the Registrar's Office at registrar@csuci.edu or at the Enrollment Center, First Floor, Sage Hall.
Please be advised:
- These are potential exemptions only, this process does not establish California residency
- California code does not provide a non-resident tuition fee exemption to:
- Active duty personnel who are on temporary duty in CA
- National Guard and Reserve members who are not serving in an Active Guard and Reserve duty status
- CA state military reserve members
- Service members on military orders specifically to attend a state-supported institution of higher education
