EOP鈥檚 End of Year Banquet
On April 8 the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP), celebrated its graduating EOP seniors and invited EOP alumni in a Rockin鈥 Through The Ages themed banquet. Parents, faculty, administrators, staff and proud alums gathered together and enjoyed a lovely evening honoring EOP seniors鈥 accomplishments.
Each senior received a certificate of completion and special EOP medallion to be worn during Commencement.

Career Week 2015
Career Development Services (CDS) hosted the largest fair with 87 employers represented, along with over 500 CI students and alumni participants seeking part-time, full-time, and internship opportunities.
Highlights of Career Week 2015: Dress for Success Fashion Show & Employer Panel: Sponsored by the Camarillo Premium Outlets and Lanc么me; CI students modeled professional interview dress for their peers. A panel of fashion show judges provided feedback on how to coordinate outfits to make a strong first impression with employers. Panel members also highlighted effective interview techniques and job search strategies for students to be competitive applicants in today鈥檚 market.
Lacayo Institute Internship Program Hosts Recognition Ceremony
The Henry L. 鈥淗ank鈥 Lacayo Institute for Workforce & Community Studies (HLI) recognized our 2014-2015 interns and employer partners for their contributions to the Lacayo Institute. A total of 54 interns were acknowledged for their quality work demonstrated in an internship setting. The ceremony featured guest speakers including Congresswoman Julia Brownley, employer partners, and interns. The HLI serves as a resource to students and the community, particularly for those interested in the study of community and workforce issues.
Sexual Assault Awareness Success at CI
Student Government, Intercultural Services and the Title IX Coordinator kicked off Sexual Assault Awareness week April 20-24 with discussions about rape, consent, culture, film screening for Brave Miss World, as well as the Clothesline Project featuring 188 shirts.
