CSU Channel Islands (»ªÌå»á) has an emergency communication system, »ªÌå»á Alert, that allows University officials the ability to reach the University community with time-sensitive information during unforeseen events or emergencies using voice, e-mail, text messaging/SMS, and TTY/TDD methods.

There is no charge to subscribe to the service, but call and text messaging fees from cell phone service providers may apply.

Students, staff, and faculty may verify and update their current »ªÌå»á Alert contact information by logging into myCI and clicking the "Alert Settings" link under their profile icon to review their »ªÌå»á Alert Contact Information. If the information that is listed is incorrect, please update it and be sure to click "Save."
